amp idea?

New postby 413 on Fri Jun 12, 2009 9:04 pm

in one of my mobiles im running a cheap bluethunder 200... i think it is getting a little weak and im thinking of changing the pills in it.... what would happen if i were to change out to higher power pills in that amp???

would i be better off to just go with a straight replacement??

Could i easily upgrade??

I am thinking as well doing this to my little palomar tx75 that i have on my base.. just dont know if it will work.. or if it is even worth the effort..

Not worth doing. To upgrade the pills their would have to be changed made to several other circuits to work right.

Buy a good used amp or a brand new one. Save the work for something else. With the time and money spent to repair your old one it would be easier just to get another.... Good luck
